Electric Powered Rack Systems

We offer a range of powered steering racks for use in uncrewed platforms. Some racks can also accommodate a steering shaft, maintaining mechanical connection between the rack and driver, should the option for conventional steering control also be required.

EPR01 Autonomous Rack System

This high-power rack system can be used for both crewed and uncrewed autonomous operations. The single 12V electric motor can provide a maximum thrust of 560kgf.

EPR02 Autonomous Rack System

This high-power rack system can be used for both crewed and uncrewed autonomous operations. The single 12V electric motor can provide a maximum thrust of 560kgf.

EPR02DM Dual Motor Autonomous Rack System

The EPR02 system is fully redundant steering actuator. Fitted with twin motors and twin steering angle sensors, the rack allows for two completely independent systems to control each motor if required. Each 12V motor can provide up to 420kgf of thrust or 840kgf when both motors run together. As this unit has no mechanical input, it is only suited for remote steering operations.
